New electronic document capability confirmed
Landgate is pleased to advise that the issue identified with the new electronic document capability referenced in CIB 441: June 2025 has been resolved by PEXA.
The following dutiable documents will be available for industry preparation and lodgement via the PEXA Electronic Lodgment Network (ELN) from Monday 4 August 2025:
- Transfer of Land by Mortgagee (Power of Sale);
- Transfer of Land (Sale for Rates); and
- Transfer of Land under Property (Seizure and Sale) Order.
We encourage you to take advantage of this new functionality when creating and lodging these documents. Your actions will assist the Land Registry to move towards full electronic lodgment, which has the benefit of reduced processing and registration turnaround times for customers.
To be eligible for electronic conveyancing, transfers must meet the eligibility criteria set out in the document eligibility guide in ELE-01 Electronic Conveyancing and RevenueWA eligibility criteria.
For queries relating to preparation of documents within the PEXA ELN, please refer to the PEXA Support website.
For queries relating to transfer duty eligibility and requirements, please refer to the RevenueWA website.

New Landgate website enhancements go live!
On 22 July, Landgate launched two new self-service tools to give our customers faster, easier access to registration lodgement information.
Our new web-based Dealing Progress Tracker and Transfer Lodgement Fee Calculator provide customers direct, real-time access to critical information – with no need to call or create an account.
Available from the Land Transactions Hub at landgate.wa.gov.au, these new tools support Landgate’s commitment to enhance our online customer support.
Dealing Progress Tracker
The new Dealing Progress Tracker lets customers check the status of their Landgate lodgement at anytime, from any location – simply by entering their document number.
- Free and easy to use at landgate.wa.gov.au – no account or login needed
- Real-time customer updates with a clear visual timeline of your lodgement progress
- Helpful prompts and links at each stage, so you know what’s happening and if any further customer information is needed
- Updated NotifyMe emails for subscribers, to align with the new tracker.
The existing Dealing Status Search will remain available for Land Enquiry Services account holders. Though, we do recommend you now transition to the new Dealing Progress Tracker, as it delivers enhanced customer functionality, including a visual ‘progress timeline’ and clear ‘customer prompts/helpful links’ to more seamlessly guide your interaction with us.
Transfer Lodgement Fee Calculator
Our new online Transfer Lodgement Fee Calculator will help Landgate customers, both industry and private, to more easily calculate the required fees to lodge a transfer with us.
- New online calculator replaces existing manual PDF-based method.
- Handles complex scenarios like transfers involving over 20 titles or values above $2 million.
- Will be available via MyLandgate for industry users – ready to be integrated into your workflows.
Both the Dealing Progress Tracker and Transfer Lodgement Fee Calculator are available to use on the Landgate and can be accessed from the “helpful tools” menu on the front page, and from the Land Transactions Hub landing page.
As always, Landgate’s Customer Service team is here to support you if you have any questions.
