Landgate's Electronic Conveyancing Roadmap

Learn more and subscribe to receive updates

To enhance the electronic processing of transfer transactions, Landgate has been working with RevenueWA and the Electronic Lodgment Network Operators (ELNOs) to develop an e-conveyancing hub. The hub enables duty information to be passed from RevenueWA to the ELNOs via Landgate’s systems.

The first phase of the e-conveyancing hub will launch on 9 October 2023.

From 9 October 2023, there will be greater transfer document capability. This will increase the types of transfer documents that are eligible to be lodged electronically by industry professionals. The increased capability extends to Certificates of Title where the ownership is already registered in a capacity, such as an executor, administrator, or trustee in bankruptcy. For an up-to-date list of duty transactions that are eligible for electronic conveyancing, please refer to Revenue WA’s e-conveyancing information page - Lodge documents using eConveyancing

The second phase of the e-conveyancing hub will further increase the scope of transfer documents eligible for electronic lodgement. Landgate and RevenueWA are currently working with the ELNOs on development and deployment of the enhancements to their systems required to enable these transactions.

Landgate has deployed 46 residual documents now available electronically. For more information, please refer to ELE-04 – Residual documents in the Land transactions policy and procedure guides.
